89 LX?

I have owned 2 89 LX Sedans, and just bought my third today. (not at all the same time. LOL) My first two were EXACTLY alike.
However, the LX I bought today (my last one was in an accident; was totaled by insurance).... it is completely different! Why did honda make two different models of the LX?
My old one: Had 4 speakers. Had a black plastic strip on the trunk lid where "Civic" was printed.
My new one: 2 speakers.. red "lens" as the trunk lid...
Also, it felt totally different when I sat in it, like it was a bit smaller or something. It definitely is NOT an 88 ---

Why the differences? Geesh!

there were alot of differences between the 88's and the rest of the years. I guess they found alot of stuff they didnt like in that first year....

No No No. All of them were 89's.
I was just saying I know it's not an 88.
It's definitely an 89, just like the last two I had were... thats why it's so strange to me.

oh, gotcha. maybe they swapped in some pieces from the 90-91's? I dont know.
